Earth Grant Internship Program - Application Deadline

Interested in environment advocacy? Want to be a leader on campus and in the community?

The Earth Grant Internship is one of two programs hosted through the Arizona Institute for Resilience's Education Initiatives open to University of Arizona undergraduate students in any major who are interested in the environment, sustainability, resilience, social justice, and community service. The program provides students who are passionate about environmental and community resilience with paid internship opportunities with non-profit organization, local business, UA projects, or government agencies.

What are the benefits?

  • Hourly Wage: $19/hour for 5-20 hour work week
  • Academic Credits: Earn 2 academic credits per semester (2 semester commitment)

What are the requirements?

  • Enrolled for at least 6 undergraduate units of credit at the University of Arizona for Fall 2024, planning on being enrolled in at least 6 credits for Spring 2025
  • Living in Tucson during the 2024-25 academic year
  • Passionate about environmental and community resilience
  • Students with underrepresented identities in environmental fields are strongly encouraged to apply, including students of color, LGBTQ+ students, students with disabilities, and others.
  • Eligible to work in the United States (*Earth Grant only)
