Undergraduate Research Alliance

The Undergraduate Research (UR) Alliance was organized in 2024 to implement the recommendations made by the 2022-2023 Undergraduate Research Task Force (URTF). Five working groups assumed the responsibility for driving progress on the seven priority areas identified by the 2023 URTF.  These working groups include:

  • Communication & Coordination
  • Culture, Access, Equity, & Inclusion
  • Curricular Integration
  • Funding & Support
  • Tracking & Evaluation

Learn more about each team on the UR Alliance Working Group Leadership page.

Comprising more than 60 members from units across campus, the UR Alliance meets monthly to advance the University community's shared goals for undergraduate research. This broad collaboration creates a space for creative integration of ideas across academic disciplines and administrative units, helping fuel collaboration and innovation that support Success for Every Student and builds into initiatives like Biosphere 3 and the Big Idea Challenge.
