The Research Readiness Microcredential Series prepares students to successfully enter and thrive in research settings. Designed for those who are new to research or seeking to enhance their skills, these courses focus on the knowledge and competencies most valued by research faculty and program supervisors. Completing the series helps students understand what to expect in a research environment and provides a tangible way to demonstrate their preparedness to future research mentors.

They apply core ethical principles, including responsible AI use, and practice effective strategies for professional interactions with team members and mentors.

Developing effective research skills can help set you up for success in college and beyond. Excellence in Responsible Conduct of Research

This microcredential recognizes demonstrated competency in responsible research practices. Earners can identify ethical and compliance concerns, apply ethical reasoning to real-world research dilemmas, and know where and when to seek guidance. The requirements for this microcredential are accredited through the Office of Research & Partnerships Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Program, and it aligns with the National Institutes of Health requirements for RCR training.
