Undergraduate Research (UR) opportunities entered into the Faculty Portfolio system (formerly UAVitae) are displayed on the UR Researchers Database on UR.arizona.edu (ur.arizona.edu/find/search-ua-researchers). It's important that UR opportunities on our site are current, so please make sure your opportunity listing in Faculty Portfolio are up-to-date.
To enter or update UR opportunities, log into UAVitae (http://facultyportfolio.arizona.edu).
Use the Activities menu option to navigate to the activity section Undergraduate Research Opportunities.
Answer the following to post your opportunity:
- Start Semester and Year
This will display on the UR website as the opportunity’s Start Date. - End Semester and Year
This will be the date the opportunity will be removed from the UR website. - Do you offer undergraduate research opportunities?
Yes or No - Types of opportunities available
Click any or all: paid, volunteer, for credit. - Location of research opportunities
Main campus, Tucson-off campus, UA Sierra Vista, Phoenix, UA Yuma, etc. - List majors you would consider
- Mandatory prerequisite courses, if any
- Displayed thru API?* = YES
Be sure to click Save and Go Back when complete.
Make sure that the information you entered about your research interests is detailed, accurate, and matches the work you are currently doing.
Changes made in the Faculty Portfolio system may take 24-48 hours to appear on the UR Researchers website.
