Celebrating Transformational Mentorship in Undergraduate Research & Creative Activity
Mentorship is at the heart of meaningful undergraduate research. To recognize the individuals who inspire, challenge, and open doors for students, we are launching the inaugural 2026 Transformative Mentor Awards in Undergraduate Research & Creative Activity.
These awards will honor mentors from across all academic disciplines and any academic or professional level -- faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduate peers—who advance undergraduate scholarship and creative activity through their guidance and support.
Nominations will include a 250 word description and a brief three-sentence summary statement describing the impact the mentor has had on your life and academic trajectory.
Awardees will be recognized during Undergraduate Research Week at the VIP/CURE Poster Session on April 24, 2026.
We look forward to celebrating the mentors who make research possible.
Nominations due by midnight on Monday, March 23, 2026.
