NASA Space Grant Program Deadline

If you want to expand your universe and get paid for it too, then we have the job for you!

Can you imagine yourself working with a faculty mentor to probe the origins of the universe? To develop a lunar rover controlled over the internet? To create innovative educational materials for teaching science in elementary and secondary schools? To study the effects of zero-gravity on muscles and other organ systems? To devise a system for "mining" fuel from the Martian atmosphere? Or to study the effects of climatic and other changes on planet Earth?

Imagine no more. The UA/NASA Space Grant Program will employ full-time undergraduate students for 10-20 hours per week during the academic year to work alongside upper-level graduate students and practicing scientists. We seek a diverse group of students that are dedicated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. You do not need to be a rocket scientist to participate, but you do need to be pursuing a STEM major to apply. Applications are especially encouraged from members of underrepresented minority groups and from women.

If you are ready for a challenge, apply today. For more information, contact Michelle Coe, Arizona Space Grant Manager, at (520) 621-8556 or by email at macoe@lpl.arizona.edu. Hurry--you may just discover the lodestar of your academic career!
