Come Back Home Summer Immersion Program - Application Deadline

Are you an undergraduate student from the Navajo Nation? Interested in conducting forestry and laboratory research? 

This summer research experience caters to students from the Navajo Nation who would like to return home for the summer

The Summer 2025 Immersive Research Internship at Dine' College is a summer long program that runs May 27 - July 28, 2025. Participants will conduct forestry and laboratory research while earning course credit and will learn molecular and field techniques through the study of fungal endophytes. There will be extensive field work with long days of outdoor activities. Accepted students must apply to and enroll at Diné College. Preferred majors: any biology-related majors, environmental engineering, and any other agricultural sciences majors. Other majors are welcome to apply! Participants will live in the dorms during the internship and earn four credits for BIO485/AGR408
