The Organization for Human-Animal Interaction Research and Education (OHAIRE Lab) is looking for undergraduate student research assistants (RAs) to start at the beginning of the Spring 2023 semester. RAs will work closely with the graduate students, staff, and other undergraduates.
RAs will have the opportunity to assist with multiple ongoing projects:
- A short-term clinical trial evaluating the effects of service dogs for veterans with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- An NIH R01 longitudinal clinical trial set to begin in January 2023.
Students will be expected to work 9 hours per week.
Multiple positions are available:
- Data RA Position: Students should be proficient in R and willing to learn other statistical programming languages such as SAS and SPSS. Students should be excited to perform creative problem-solving and analysis on large datasets.
- General RA Position: Students should be interested in the general functioning of a productive research group, science communication, and human-animal interaction.
Any undergraduate student with excellent attention to detail and organization is welcome to apply. Previous research experience is not required!
