Job Description:

The University of Arizona’s Center for Trust Studies (https://eller.arizona.edu/cts) seeks to hire Undergraduate Research Assistants for the Spring semester of 2022. Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled at the University of Arizona or the Pima Community College and must be in their junior or senior year in Spring 2022. The positions are open to students from various disciplines—relevant majors may range from business and economics to sociology, psychology, communications, computer science, and beyond. Ideal candidates may consider pursuing a research-oriented career in academia and are interested in studying social relationships. Research Assistants will support faculty affiliates of the Center for Trust Studies in their ongoing research by performing tasks such as data collection, data coding, data analysis, and literature review. In addition, Research Assistants will engage in independent research on a trust-related topic, which is expected to result in an academic paper. Research Assistants will participate in relevant training and meetings and will complete assigned readings in order to acquire the skills needed to perform research at the highest levels of academic rigor. Research Assistants will also help with Center administration and promotion, such as website maintenance, event support, social media and newsletter content, interviewing, photographing, and performing other duties of outreach and Center promotion as assigned. Necessary skills include strong research and writing, work effectively both independently and collaboratively, as well as self-organization and time management.

This position is for the Spring semester of 2022 (January 12-May 13, 2022).
