Wilfrid Calvin is an Assistant Professor in the Entomology Department of the University of Arizona. He obtained his master's and Ph.D. degrees in Entomology at the University of Florida and Texas A&M University, respectively. Calvin earned his bachelor's degree in agriculture and environmental science from the American University of the Caribbean in Les Cayes, Haiti. He completed his postdoctoral training at the Entomology Department of the University of Minnesota. He has extensive experience working in agronomic and vegetable crop entomology research in the U.S. and Haiti. Calvin's research interests include integrated pest management (IPM), insecticide resistance management (IRM), host plant resistance, cropping systems, biological control, and biological insecticides.
