Thanks to the Undergraduate Research Travel Grant, Rohini Ghosh attended the 2025 AIChE Annual Student Conference in Boston, MA. As a senior preparing her graduate school applications, the opportunity to present her research helped her strengthen essential oral and visual communication skills. With over 220 guests in attendance, she connected with faculty and graduate students doing similar work, expanding her professional network.

The travel grant also allowed her to participate in the career fair, where she spoke with representatives from nearly a dozen graduate programs and refined her ability to communicate her academic interests and career goals. Meeting chemical engineering students from across the country gave her fresh ideas for events her AIChE chapter could implement and exposed her to research beyond the University of Arizona.

Overall, the travel grant made a meaningful impact by supporting her growth as a researcher and preparing her for the next steps in her academic journey. Excellent work Rohini! We're proud to have you represent undergraduate research at the University of Arizona!
