Advancing Student Success Through Research and Mentorship
What began as a last-minute application became a transformative undergraduate research experience for Illiana Samorano. Through a five-year partnership between Earth Grant and the Ramírez-Andreotta Lab, students gain hands-on experience in community-centered environmental research and receive support from faculty, graduate students, and staff as they prepare for careers in science and sustainability. Through hands-on research and mentorship, this collaboration advances student success and workforce readiness while empowering students to address real-world environmental challenges.
