Participate in an ESL Research Study!

Are you a native speaker of Chinese, Japanese, or Korean?

Read an English story and get paid $20!

You are invited to participate in a study in which you read text while your eye movements are recorded, and then engage in activities that demonstrate what you learned about what you read. You will also complete a short questionnaire that asks you a few demographic questions and questions about your language background and use.

Eligibility Requirements: 

• U of A student whose native language is either Chinese, Japanese, or Korean
• 18 years of age or older
• You have not lived in English-speaking countries for more than 6 months before the age of 18
• You don't have astigmatism (wearing eye-glasses is fine)
