When
Participating in summer research programs is an excellent way to explore career opportunities and graduate schools while getting paid. The Eppley Institute Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) offers students a 10-week summer internship opportunity with a $6,000 stipend. Eppley SURP students work in cutting edge laboratories within the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center with cancer research graduate students and faculty members. Throughout the summer there are opportunities for professional development and each participant will present a poster at the end of the summer. Learn more about SURP and apply here. Email Misty Pocwierz-Gaines at misty.pocwierz@unmc.edu for more information about the benefits of SURP and the IGPBS Cancer Research Doctoral Program.
