2024 National Conference on Undergraduate Research - Abstract Submission Deadline

The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) 2024, which will be held at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California from April 8-10, 2024, is now accepting submissions from students and faculty!
- What is NCUR? NCUR is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study by sponsoring an annual conference for students. This conference offers a unique environment for the celebration and promotion of undergraduate student achievement; provides models of exemplary research, scholarship, and creative activity; and offers student career readiness development.
- Why attend? We encourage student researchers to participate in NCUR to present their research, forge new connections, advocate for undergraduate research, build their professional profile, expand on their resumes, hone essential career skills, and much more. There is also a new opportunity this year for students to apply to serve as a moderator to practice an additional skillset.
- Why submit to present? Students should consider submitting their research presentation to NCUR for the opportunity to gain national recognition, foster professional development, contribute to their field's knowledge, enhance their resume, and expand their professional network. Faculty and mentors are encouraged to submit to participate in new mentor-led sessions that are intended for students, faculty, and/or staff to attend. Through these presentations, mentors share their invaluable insights, mentorship experiences, and research initiatives, illuminating the path for ambitious student researchers, inspiring ideas for other mentors who may attend, and celebrating the spirit of undergraduate research. All presentations and experiences will continue to help grow the importance of undergraduate research and its programs.

The submission window opens on September 15th, 2023 and closes at 11:59PM, December 8, 2023. Abstract decisions will be made on January 11, 2024.
