I am interested in uncovering: 1) How to teach students to become lifelong learners; 2)Effective ways to increase underrepresented populations in natural sciences; 3)Effective ways to increase the participation of pollution affected communities in environmental clean-up; 4) How to increase undergraduate participation in problem-solving, decision making, and scientific discussions; and, 5) How to teach science in simple and culturally relatable manner.
